Indications to have in mind
In order to have a succesful treatment, we request that the following recommendations are carried out:
Attend to the assigned appointments on time, since the tie of the date is the one needed to the corresponding procedure to be done. Do not miss appointments, since the orthodontics treatment works through activations and if they are postponed the treatment is therefore lengthen.
If you miss an appointment without notice, it has to be paid all the same.
You willl have to follow the indications of the dentist as precisely as possible, such as: the way to care for your equipment, the use of rubber ties, the use of removable equipment, hygiene indications, etc.
It is crucial to keep an excellent oral hygiene during the treatment since the uncleanliness or incorrect hygiene may produce gingival damage (gums), spread of caries, bone resorption or spots on enamel. It is recommended to triple hygiene. Do not bite tough nor sticky food such as bones, fruit stones, bread crust, apples, chewing gum, among others, to avoid the detachment of the equipment.
If any equipment loosens or gets detached, please keep it and bring it to your next appointment, which should be as soon as possible. The loss or damage of any equipment for the patienst fault will be cause of extra charge.
